Deepika Padukone is so excited about working with Southern superstar Rajnikanth in ‘Rana’ that she isn’t quite sure how to describe the experience. At a press meet for the movie, Deepy, sounding absolutely thrilled, said, “I can’t call this a dream come true because it seemed impossible and I didn’t even think that it would happen.”Deepika is currently shooting in Chennai for ‘Rana’, and first on the shoot schedule is a song, that’ll see her in a splendid traditional outfit. The music for the movie is being scored by A R Rahman.
Deepika also added that she was even happier to be working in the movie because she’s a South Indian (Deepy is from Karnatka originally).
Shooting for ‘Rana’ began on April 29, but it got off to a bit of a rocky start as Rajnikanth fell ill early in the day and had to be hospitalised. He was discharged later that evening.
Before the shooting kick started, Deepika’s looks in the film made headlines. It was reported that Deepika has a tough time shooting with the superstar. Rajini was not totally impressed with Deepika’s look and insisted her make-up artists to make her more beautiful.
